AssessWrite AI is committed to protecting personal data and complying with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

We:

  • Process data only to provide the AssessWrite AI service

  • Apply data minimisation and encourage the use of non-identifiable pupil information where possible

  • Store data securely using industry-standard protections

  • Do not use pupil data for advertising, profiling, or AI model training

Where AssessWrite AI is used by a school or trust, the school remains the Data Controller and AssessWrite AI acts as a Data Processor, processing data only on documented instructions.

We support schools with their data protection obligations and will provide information required for DPIAs and compliance reviews on request.
